The airport’s construction began in February 2022, and it will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30, 2023, with flight operations beginning on January 10, 2024. The flight was supposed to leave Delhi at 10:00 AM and land in Ayodhya at 11:20 AM. Still, according to the amended itinerary for the inauguration day, the flight from Delhi will now depart at 9:50 AM, with the first flight landing in Ayodhya at 11:00 AM.
