- Physical fitness: Candidates must be in good physical condition and have a healthy physique.
- Chest expansion: Candidates must have a well-developed chest with a minimum expansion of 5 centimeters.
- Vision and hearing: Candidates must have normal hearing in each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes. They must be able to read 6/6 on the distance vision chart with each eye and have a color vision of CP-III or better.

Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024 Salary
- Salary: Agniveers will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 4.75 lakhs in their first year, which will increase to Rs. 6.92 lakhs in their fourth year. In addition, they will receive allowances for risk and hardship, ration, dress, and travel.
- Seva Nidhi: Agniveers will contribute 30% of their monthly salary to the Seva Nidhi package, and the government will match their contribution. After four years of service, Agniveers will receive a lump-sum payment of Rs. 11.71 lakhs from the Seva Nidhi package, plus interest.
- Death Compensation: Agniveers are covered by a non-contributory life insurance policy for Rs. 48 lakhs. In addition, their families will receive an ex-gratia payment of Rs. 44 lakhs if they die in the line of duty.
